Induction program for the new MBA and MCA students

Students undergoing professional education are not different from soldiers. Both have to live up to trials, tribulations and expectations. Both are required to be at their best physically, emotionally, psychologically and attitudinally”, observed Commander C. Supradeep N.M, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. He was addressing the first year MBA and MCA students of Chinmaya Institute of Technology, Kannur. He urged the professional students to do more than they expect of themselves and to achieve more than they thought was possible. He advised the students to invest time is reading books, to aim higher and not to settle for mediocrity, to ask questions, be inquisitive, analyse and correlate; learn to take on challenges; develop a positive attitude; to find a mentor and tobecome one eventually; to be rooted in ethics and values; to be one's own conscience-keeper; to develop healthy hobbies and to not burn out running the long race. In her keynote address, Lt. Sangeeta of INA shared her personal experience with the audience and asserted that girls should not consider themselves constrained by social norms, biology or education, in preparing themselves for the world of opportunities.

The officers were speaking at the inauguration of the 9 th induction programme being offered to the first year students of the institute. Swamini Apoorvananda Saraswati, Acharya of Chinmaya Mission Kannur, Chief Sevak K.K. Rajan, Dean of Chinmaya institutions Prof. C. P Sreenath, Principal Dr. K.K. Muraleedharan and students representative Ms. Sonam Dhruv spoke at the occasion.
